The "My Baby Sam Out of the Blue" mobile is a wonderful addition to my son's nursery. It only took me a few minutes to assemble the mobile and attach it to his crib. The mobile mount is made of sturdy plastic that locks solidly to the crib when screwed in place. I tried wriggling it and the mobile didn't budge. The plastic arm that holds the music box has a navy blue sleeve that slips over it easily to cover up the plastic makes the mobile look fancy. The blue and gray owls that hang off of the chevron patterned mobile are adorable and their contrasting colors are good for a baby's developing eyes. Personally I love the hand-made looking stitching on the owls, it adds to the cozy atmosphere. The music box has a wind up mechanism which plays a classic lullaby tune for about 3 and half minutes after being wound up completely. I wish that the music played longer or had a battery option but it's not really a problem. There is a switch on the music box to turn off the sound if needed.
